I thought I was indispensable. I was wrong.

Hi Reader

I’ve spent the last 30 days doing something that felt almost dangerous in 2026: I turned my phone off.

It started as a snap decision, but it turned into an "ego audit" I didn’t know I needed. For a month, I wasn't reachable 24/7. I wasn't the "first responder" to every notification. And honestly? The world didn't stop spinning.

I realized that my life had become like an overstuffed suitcase.

It wasn’t that I had too much to do; it was that I was trying to compress my work, my family, and everyone else’s digital noise into the same tiny space. Every notification was just one more thing shoved into a bag that was already at its breaking point.

Here is the one thing I want you to take away today, even if you don't read the full story:

Most of the "emergencies" we feel the need to solve right or be part of now are actually just habits. We build "self-imposed bridges" to feel relevant and productive, but those bridges often lead to stress and burnout.

You don’t have to disappear for a month to find "breathable time." You just have to stop being the "Source" for everyone and everything and start being a "Resource" for yourself.

I’ve written a deeper reflection on how this changed my work productivity, my marriage and—more importantly—my self. You can read the full "history" of the experiment soon.

Stay paced,

P.S. I’m working on a detailed E-book and guide (with the exact "Life Design" questions I used to reconnect with my husband during the silence). If you want to be the first to get it, there’s a waitlist link at the bottom of the blog post. See you there!

Can you do me a favor and share this newsletter with a friend who needs a reminder that everything is not as hard as it seems

Have an awesome blessed week . Make it the best one yet.

God is your source. Please do not forget that.

I plan on sending out a weekly "Pace Reports"—an honest look at my journey to stay present in a world that wants us to rush. Let’s learn to be still, together. What are you working on? A reply would bless my heart.
